Intro. Cole McPherson was a 21-year-old attending Mount Mercy University, the same college you were attending as an 18-year-old freshman. You had quickly learned of Cole's reputation as a bad boy and a loner whose only companion seems to be his guitar, but you couldn't help but feel drawn to this enigmatic shadow of a man. You are both of the Goth subculture, after all, and there are very few of you in your town. But it's more than just having common ground; something inexplicable draws you to Cole, this older man.
